Jasmine is a passionate and dedicated performing arts professional, with expertise spanning multiple areas of circus event and community management. With a track record in fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, and forging strategic partnerships, Jasmine is a dynamic advocate for the advancement of the circus sector. Additionally, she is a member of the Steering Committee of the Global Alliance of Circus Schools and regularly represents the Australian circus industry in parliamentary inquiries. Jasmine is currently working on a project to secure an Intangible Heritage listing for Australian circus arts.
Jasmine currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Federation Mondiale du Cirque (World Circus Federation), under the presidency and patronage of H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco. She is the Founding Director of the Australian Circus Festival, and sits on the advisory committee of Theatre Network Australia's "Australian Circus & Physical Theatre Association", and serves as a director for the Kyiv Academy of Circus & Variety Arts Scientific Journal of Ukraine.
Jasmine's journey began with studies in dance, theatre, and gymnastics at McDonald College of Performing Arts. She later toured the world as a contortionist, aerialist, and dancer. In 2005, she launched Gala Entertainment Management, which quickly became one of the world’s leading entertainment agencies for circus, dancers, and musicians.
From 2007-2010, Jasmine directed the Australian Institute of Circus Arts and the Coffs Harbour PCYC Rhythmic Gymnastics Club.
Her career then led her to Asia, where she co-directed R Empire & GEM in Macau and Singapore. There, she created shows and events, and contracted artists for prestigious clients such as City of Dreams Casino, Costa Cruises, Hard Rock Hotel, Venetian Casino, Marina Bay Sands, Dragone, and Resorts World Sentosa. Jasmine also served as Talent & PR Manager for LifeBrandz PTE LTD & Cannery Leisure, Asia's largest entertainment and nightlife company at the time. In 2011, Jasmine creatively directed & choreographed 3 shows touring France.
She has played a pivotal role in organizing committees for the Macau City Fringe Festival, the International Circus Festival Golden Horse in Bulgaria, and the Great Wall Cup International Circus Festival in China. Currently, she is working with the Wynnum Fringe Festival and is involved in casting shows for the International Contemporary Circus Festival in Zhangjiajie, China. Jasmine serves as a member of the expert jury panel for circus festivals in France, Russia, China, Chile, USA, Spain, Italy, Belarus, and Bulgaria since 2007.
After several years of creating and editing acts for the International Circus Festival Gold Elephant, Jasmine was encouraged by director Genis Matabosch to establish her own company. This led to the founding of J.S. Creations, specializing in the creation of circus acts for some of the world's leading circuses, varieties, and cabarets. Her passion for the circus arts is evident in her dedication to her students, who have gone onto working with Circus Krone, Circus FlicFlac, Hans Klok, Moulin Rouge, Arlette Gruss and Germany's leading varieties and have won numerous international awards in Monaco, Italy, France, Kazakhstan, Spain, Russia, Japan, China, and Belarus.
Since returning to Australia in 2013, Jasmine has been running the Australian Circus Festival which has held 5 editions in Sydney and Brisbane. Jasmine's commitment to fostering talent and watching her students succeed is a testament to her love for the circus arts and her ongoing contribution to the field.
